My name is Courtney Millman and I am currently a 3D External Development Manager and Character Artist at Maxis /EA working on the unreleased title. I’ve been working in the industry for 7+ years as a 3D Character Artist collaborating with numerous indie devs and larger studios, adapting to a variety of styles and varying restrictions, which has helped me grow a lot in this industry.
My skills have always aligned with coordinating, collaboration, and creation. I love working with people, and excel at numerous qualities of production, design, and the needs of game development. I have pushed for the pursuit in my overall game development knowledge by working with vendors/outsource management, creating pitch decks, and working closely with engineering/production/vfx/techart to create new experiences for players.
